El cotillo

- an archetypal fishing village in the north west of Fuerteventura, which has in recent years closed by tourism. It is surrounded by many separate lava bays, in which there are beautiful white shell beaches. Some of these beaches change according to the season and weather situation on an up to 6 m high wave that lets a surfer's heart beat higher. Also there are coves that are protected by their location and condition of the wind and waves and guarantee families with children fun swimming. The village itself has a historical tower "El Tostón" and on the north-western elevation of a small lighthouse.
