Tarajalejo

- located in the south of Fuerteventura and is a small former fishing village. The center consists of the few
houses standing near the old pier. Tarajalejo is the only place in which a hotel is on a black sand beach. The black sand is rich in magnetite, a strongly magnetic mineral, which a high curative power is attributed. In the village there are several bars and restaurants. For the sports assets, this
offers an opportunity for windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing and horse backriding.
